Configurations Overview
What are Configurations
Engineering configurations are templates that can be used to configure how the solvers in Podium runs. You can customize these templates to change the settings such as architecture solvers, structure, electrical and etc.
Accessing the Configurations
1. The engineering configurations can be found on the left-hand panel.
2. To open the configurations, click on the kebab menu and choose open.
3. You can configure the various solvers on the left-hand panel.
- Within each solver, you can choose between Industrial and Residential typologies. Data center falls under Industrial typology.
- Once you have updated all the configurations as required, click Save at the bottom of the screen.
Creating New Configuration Templates
You can create multiple Configuration Templates and apply to specific scenario to explore how it affects the design.
You can save and rename the customized Configuration Template under General.
You can apply the customized Configuration Template by clicking on Assign Configuration to Scenarios on the right-hand panel and selecting the Configuration Template on the drop-down menu for respective Scenarios.
