Modular Data Center Objects
ย
There are 2 types of modular data center objects in the Template Library of Podium
- Modular Medium Density Data Center
- Modular Low Density Data Center
Modular Medium Density Data Center
It is a modular data center with a default rack density of 20kW
Modular Low Density Data Center
It is a modular data center with a default rack density of 10kW
Look out for higher density templates coming soon!
Editing Data Center Objects
ย
Select the Modular Medium Density Data Center or Modular Low Density Data Center object from the Template Library. Then, drag and drop it onto the site to position it.

Once the Modular Medium Density Data Center is placed, you can apply a range of dynamic modifications.
- Stretching
- Rotating
- Repositioning
- Base translation
- Base rotation
ย
Stretching
Click the Pen Icon and hover over the edge of the object where you want to adjust the length or width. When the edge highlights in yellow, it is ready to be adjusted.
Click and drag the edge to adjust the length or width. It will automatically snap to the nearest modular dimension.

Rotating
Click the Move Icon and hover over the object. When the circle turns yellow, it means the object is ready to be rotated. Click and drag to rotate the object around its center point

Release the object to set it in the new position. Then, confirm your changes by clicking the green Tick icon at the top or the Solve button at the bottom right.

ย
Base translation
Click the Move Icon on the toolbar in the top and click Base Translation.

Click any desired spot along the edges of the object to set it as the anchor spot to reposition the object.

Click and drag the object to reposition it anywhere on the site. A guiding arrow with distance measurement will be shown to indicate the precise location. Release the object to set it in the new position.
Alternatively, input the distance measurement to set it in the new position.

Then, confirm your changes by clicking the green Tick icon at the top.
ย
Base rotation
Click the Move Icon on the toolbar in the top and click Base Rotation.

Click any desired spot along the edges of the object to set it as the anchor spot to rotate the object. Drag the spot outwards and the first guidance arrow will appear.

Hold and drag the arrow to rotate it. Another guiding arrow with degree measurement will be shown to indicate the precise angle. Release the object to set it in the new position.
Alternatively, input the degree measurement to set it in the new position.

Then, confirm your changes by clicking the green Tick icon at the top.
