Version 1.2.32

Version 1.2.32 (12 Feb 2026)

New Features

We are excited to announce a range of powerful new features and enhancements across the Podium platform. This update introduces advanced tools for costing, site planning, and assessing construction efficiency, helping you to design more effectively and with greater confidence.

Residential building features

  • Gain greater control over your residential layouts with new placement zones that guide the positioning of apartment units, ensuring your designs meet spatial requirements with ease.
  • Corridor generation is now more intelligent, automatically taking into account the external corridor widths defined within individual unit templates. This results in more accurate and context-aware floor plans from the outset.

Industrial building features

  • Achieve more accurate and comprehensive costings for data centre projects. Our cost engine now incorporates IT Load costs, and the metrics table has been updated to provide a more detailed financial breakdown.
  • Improved tools for defining and allocating space for cooling units provide greater flexibility in designing the mechanical systems for complex buildings.
  • You can now apply templates to equipment yards associated with generic buildings, allowing for faster and more standardised design of ancillary site areas.

Structural features

  • Wall pile caps are now represented with more precise geometry for enhanced visualisation and accuracy in substructure design, improving coordination and analysis.

Supplier features

  • Introducing a suite of Industrialised Construction (IC) scoring tools. You can now evaluate your designs against key efficiency metrics, including ease of assembly, transport, repetition, and prefabrication, providing valuable insights to inform design and procurement decisions.

Site features

  • Easily add and configure ground-level surface parking areas within your site plans, allowing for more complete and realistic feasibility studies.
  • Design site access and vehicle circulation with greater precision. You can now define detailed driveway criteria, including vehicle turning radii, to ensure your site layouts are compliant and functional.
  • Enjoy finer control over driveway geometry with improved editing tools, making it simpler to create complex or custom access routes.

Platform & Integration

  • Our Microsoft Excel Add-in is now more secure and seamlessly integrated. It is served directly from Podium and features a new authentication flow for enhanced security and a smoother user experience.

Bug Fixes

This release also includes a significant number of bug fixes and stability improvements. Our team has been working hard to resolve issues reported by our users to ensure a smoother, more reliable experience. Key fixes are highlighted below.

Residential building features

  • Addressed several issues in the Floorplate Editor, including a bug that created gaps between units when moved, and restored the ability to designate units as voids.
  • Corrected various issues with residential templates, ensuring custom names appear correctly, templates can be swapped as expected, and mirrored templates behave correctly.
  • Resolved an error where the residential unit mix would not update correctly when targets were changed in a new scenario.
  • Fixed an issue where internal corner units were not correctly removed from layouts when the ventilation type was set to natural.

Industrial building features

  • Fixed multiple issues related to data centre and modular building costing, where costs would sometimes display as zero or fail to generate.
  • Corrected various visualisation and geometric bugs, including improper rendering of modular buildings after being cloned and incorrect bounding box positions for data centres and ramps.
  • Addressed solver failures for certain industrial building types and data centre configurations, ensuring solutions are generated reliably.
  • Resolved an issue where the office section of a warehouse was incorrectly treated as a separate building in compliance checks.

Structural features

  • Corrected structural analysis calculations for residential buildings to resolve issues with incorrect beam sizing, excessive shear forces on walls, and improper offsets for beams, columns, and walls.
  • Fixed an error where Embodied Carbon values were not being generated for composite decking slabs.
  • Addressed multiple wireframe generation issues for both industrial and residential buildings, particularly those with cranked corridor shapes.
  • Resolved an issue in the industrial dependency graph generator that resulted in beams having incorrect structural node levels.

Site features

  • Fixed a calculation error where site coverage could exceed 100% and result in a negative value for the unused area.
  • Resolved an issue that caused the original shape of a building or podium to remain visible after its geometry was updated.
  • Corrected the placement behaviour of site elements, including an issue where cars, people, and trees could be removed after reloading a scenario.
  • Addressed solver errors that could occur when adding a driveway to a site that included a modular data centre.

General & User Interface

  • Improved model integrity by preventing critical or non-editable spaces from being accidentally deleted in the Model Inspection panel.
  • Enhanced the Revit add-in to prevent temporary files from being saved on a user's desktop and to fix a bug that could duplicate buildings.
  • Corrected various interface issues, including incorrect building bounding box dimensions after resizing, missing pagination options, and inconsistent imperial unit conversions.
  • Fixed a bug where a move action could be unintentionally performed on a previously selected element.
  • Resolved an intermittent login issue to ensure more reliable access to the platform.
