New Features

Residential Building Features

  • Comprehensive Area Metrics: When evaluating residential designs in Site Space, you can now view key area metrics like Gross Floor Area (GFA), Net Lettable Area (NLA), and Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act Carpet Area. These metrics are displayed at the tower level and can be determined both heuristically and geometrically, providing confidence in your feasibility studies.
  • Combined Square Metre and Square Foot Display: Unit template and unit card views now display both square metres (SQM) and square feet (SQFT) for area metrics, catering to diverse user preferences.
  • View Template Metrics in Scenarios: In Site Space, within a residential project scenario, you can now quickly review assigned and used unit templates. This includes details like the number of bedrooms, template names, and the count of instances used in your residential tower.
  • Flexible Unit Template Management: You can now add and remove unit templates at the scenario level in Site Space when designing residential towers. This allows you to quickly determine which units are used for your buildings, with consideration for how this impacts metrics on the Scenario Comparison page.

  • Solver-Driven Riser Placement (Core Cluster - Part 1 & 2): Risers can now be automatically placed within a floorplate, helping you confirm spatial requirements for MEP risers and route distribution elements efficiently.
  • Configurable Minimum Riser Clearances: You can now view and edit the minimum clearances for each riser type in the Engineering Configuration. This allows you to assign preferred minimum clearances and reserve sufficient maintenance access and circulation paths.
  • Automated Riser Vertical Penetration Type and Dimensions: The solver now automatically determines the vertical penetration type and dimensions of risers, ensuring they are placed clash-free with structural beams and allowing for efficient routing of MEP distribution elements.
  • Automated Riser Quantity and Dimensions (Core Cluster): The solver now automatically determines the required number of risers on a floorplate within a Core Cluster, aiding in the efficient routing of MEP distribution elements throughout the building.
  • Automated Riser Type Determination: The solver can now automatically determine which riser types are required based on the system, ensuring sufficient space is reserved within the building.

Supplier Features

  • View Switchboard Equipment Schedules: Designers can now view the Circuit Breaker Schedule for switchboards in Building Space, allowing for validation of information and alignment with project requirements. A "View in 3D" button is also available within the schedule for quick visual reference.
  • View Cooling Tower Properties: When you select a cooling tower product in Building Space, you can now view its related product configuration, specifications, and supplier information. This provides the details needed to make informed design decisions.

Site Features

  • Enhanced Site Access Point Definition: Improvements have been made to the flow of adding site access points, including enhanced enforcement of minimum distance between them.
  • Saved Views in Site Space: Designers can now create, edit, and download multiple saved views from the 3D scene in Site Space. This provides visual consistency for presentations and allows for easy revisiting of specific perspectives.
  • Combined Mixed-Use Building Selection and Transformation: You can now select a mixed-use building as a single entity, allowing for easier interaction and transformation.
  • Detailed Switchboard Properties in Building Space: When selecting a switchboard product in Building Space, you can now view its comprehensive configuration, specifications, and supplier information in the Right-Hand Panel. This includes electrical details like designed and rated incoming current and quantity for various switchboard types.
  • User-Defined Switchboard Requirements in Engineering Configuration: You can now input criteria for switchboard products in the Engineering Configuration, such as preferred suppliers, load diversity factor, and spare rating. This ensures these preferences are prioritised during the solving process. You can also define access width and clearance dimensions.
  • Detailed Switchgear Properties in Building Space: When selecting a switchgear product in Building Space, you can now view its configuration, specifications, and supplier information, including panel quantity, product type, dimensions, and performance properties.
