Version 1.2.44
Version 1.2.44 (21 Aug 2026)
New Features
We are excited to announce our latest platform update, packed with new features to enhance your design workflow and improve project management. This release focuses on providing greater control, accelerating your design process, and improving collaboration. Here are the highlights of what is new.
Residential building features
- Benefit from enhanced visualisation of parking layouts within podium structures, making it easier to assess and optimise parking efficiency during the early design stages.
- Accelerate your design process by filtering residential unit templates by size, helping you to find and apply the most suitable options for your project more quickly.
Structural features
- Gain greater control over your feasibility studies with a new master switch to toggle early-stage structural analysis in Site Space, allowing for faster iterations on architectural layouts.
Supplier features
- Suppliers can now specify regional availability for their products by adding supply regions to their profiles, providing designers with more accurate and relevant product information.
General Improvements
- To prevent accidental changes to completed work, an additional confirmation step has been added when locking or unlocking design scenarios.
- Streamline your BIM workflow with a new user interface within Podium for configuring how your design data is mapped for export to Revit.
- Track your project's lifecycle more effectively with the new ability to set and display a project's current status within the platform.
Bug Fixes
This release also includes a number of important bug fixes and performance improvements to provide a more stable and reliable experience. We have focused on resolving issues related to data consistency, user interface behaviour, and model generation. Key fixes include:
Residential building features
- Resolved an issue that prevented stacking of building blocks on top of an Advanced Generic Building, restoring full vertical design flexibility.
- Fixed a bug where a residential building would appear to float after the podium it was stacked on was deleted. The building now correctly repositions to the site level.
- An issue causing duplicate residential units to be created during the import process has been resolved.
- Area metrics for residential buildings now update correctly and automatically after a building is deleted from the project.
- Changes to a building's floor count are now immediately and accurately reflected in the Building View.
- Addressed an issue preventing parking calculations from working correctly for Residential Modular Buildings.
- Tower placement on top of a podium now updates automatically when the podium's floor-to-floor height is adjusted.
- Fixed an 'invalid massing' error that could occur when solving a generic building with a residential function and corridor.
- Area metrics for split floorplates now correctly display and categorise the different floorplate functions.
- The floorplate function is now correctly identified as 'mixed-use' at the building level when multiple functions have been assigned.
- Building design criteria are now retained after a building's footprint is resized, preventing loss of work.
Industrial building features
- Ensured that the plant section is correctly retained when cloning a Modular Low Density Data Centre project.
- The selection bounding box for multi-storey warehouses now renders correctly after being placed and solved in Site Space, improving interaction and visibility.
- Fixed a visualisation bug where empty parking spaces were shown incorrectly when a generic building's function was set to 'Parking' in an industrial project.
- Corrected a discrepancy between the heavy vehicle parking count displayed in the metrics panel and the number visualised in the 3D model for single-tenant warehouses.
Structural features
- Corrected basement metrics to include the building height value and apply correct comma formatting for improved readability.
- Enhanced the parking generation logic to ensure all available space is utilised, preventing gaps where central parking spaces were previously not being created.
- Resolved a solver issue related to travel distance calculations between different core types, allowing complex floorplates to be generated successfully.
- Informational messages within the parking configuration panel now clear correctly after values have been auto-filled.
Supplier features
- Addressed an issue where product variant data was not displaying for some items in the supplier portal, ensuring all product information is visible.
Site features
- Site Division height now correctly displays in the chosen project units (Imperial or Metric), ensuring consistency across the platform.
- Fixed an intermittent graphical issue where pink lines could appear on the terrain when topography was enabled.
- Improved the parking algorithm to successfully generate layouts for smaller surface parking areas.
- Corrected a misalignment between the virtual cursor and an object's position when working in a 3D view with topography enabled, ensuring precise placement.
- Improved performance when zooming in on a site with topography and building pads enabled, preventing the model from becoming unresponsive.
- Site divisions from a previous location are now correctly cleared when a new site location is selected for the project.
General Fixes
- Improved the performance and reliability of the Revit export process, ensuring timely results are achieved.
- Optimised data handling to prevent the user interface from becoming unresponsive when dealing with very large query results.
- Resolved an issue where published Excel templates were not visible to collaborators without a Podium account, improving data sharing.
- Fixed a compatibility issue with the Excel Plugin when used with the Microsoft Edge browser, ensuring a smooth experience for all users.
- The workspace now correctly loads in the user's pre-configured unit preference (Imperial or Metric) from the very first view.
- Fixed an issue where certain measurement fields would not switch from Metric to Imperial units along with the rest of the project.
- Ensured that all metrics and currency values dynamically update to reflect the selected unit system throughout the platform.
- Resolved an issue that prevented the successful import of OBJ files, restoring functionality for bringing in custom 3D models.
- Units displayed in the scenario generation criteria now correctly update to reflect the project's unit settings.
- Project thumbnails can now be updated successfully on projects that have been copied between tenancies.
