Generic Building Object
Each generic building in Podium can be assigned a building function and a sub-function to reflect the functional needs required for the building.
For example, the generic building can be assigned for use as a high voltage switch yard/transformer yard/substation/generic equipment yard.
This guide explains how to access and edit the generic buildings to be used in the design of a data center.
- Drag and drop Generic Building -SDG onto site. Change the shape and size of the generic building according to your needs.
- Click “Criteria” > “ Building Function” and select Equipment Yard
- Under “Sub-Function”, select the space use (high voltage switch yard/transformer yard/substation/generic equipment yard)
- Set the parameters and click “Solve” to accept the changes.
