Version 1.2.33
Version 1.2.33 (27 Feb 2026)
New Features
We are excited to announce a range of powerful new features and enhancements designed to accelerate your design process and provide deeper insights into your projects. This release focuses on delivering more detailed design capabilities, better data interoperability, and more accurate analysis.
Residential building features
- You can now design and visualise ground-floor parking layouts within your residential building designs, allowing for earlier and more integrated parking strategies.
- Gain immediate clarity on your building's composition by viewing a detailed breakdown of residential unit templates directly within Site Space.
- We have introduced more granular controls for editing hammerhead edges, giving you greater flexibility to fit complex building shapes onto your site.
Structural features
- Our structural analysis is now more powerful, with enhanced M-N analysis for columns experiencing bending in both orthogonal directions, leading to more accurate results.
- Improve interoperability with other structural analysis software through enhanced IFC exports, which now include structural planar actions for a more complete data transfer.
- Benefit from more intelligent and efficient structural layouts with improved column and slab generation that automatically supports both residential units and corridors.
- Instantly access detailed embodied carbon data for your designs via a new information panel, helping you make more sustainable material and design choices.
Supplier features
- Streamline your procurement process by automatically generating a Bill of Materials for steel joists directly from your model.
- Better inform your construction planning with a new information panel that provides detailed assembly time estimates for building components.
- Data exchange with external tools like Excel is now more accurate and reliable, with updated and restructured data schedules for residential and structural components.
Site features
- Enhance your design context by exporting more detailed site information—including build zones, no-build zones, driveways, and landscaping—directly to Revit.
- Better understand land use at a glance with a new site area breakdown, giving you a clear summary of how the site is allocated.
- The generation of site surfaces is now more robust and performant, improving the accuracy of topographical representations.
- Finding your work is now faster and more intuitive. The project and scenario selection screen now filters to show only projects that you own or have been added to.
Bug Fixes
This release also includes numerous bug fixes and stability improvements across the platform to ensure a smoother and more reliable experience. We have addressed issues in modelling, data reporting, and interoperability to improve your workflow.
Residential building features
- The roof area for residential towers is now correctly calculated and displayed in the building metrics panel.
- Resolved a geometry conflict where units in a hammerhead configuration would incorrectly overlap with the staircase.
- An issue that caused an extra platform to appear on residential podiums when decreasing the floor-to-floor height has been fixed.
- We have improved the solver's logic to ensure the generated residential unit mix now aligns much more closely with your specified criteria.
- Wall geometry in the wireframe view for residential buildings with a cranked corridor is now displayed correctly with straight edges.
- Addressed an error that could occur when generating a residential building using the Design Assistant.
- The validation message for unit mix percentages will now correctly remain on screen to confirm your inputs total 100%.
Industrial building features
- Air-cooled chillers for data centres are now positioned correctly on the roof in Revit exports, instead of appearing inside the building.
- You can now switch a data centre's cooling system to water-cooled without encountering a solver error.
- An error that prevented modifications to the footprint size of low-rise data centre templates has been resolved.
- Corrected a solver error that occurred when adding loading bays to certain single-tenant warehouse configurations.
- The dynamic metrics table now correctly aggregates the total IT Load for all data centres on a site.
- Office buildings are now correctly generated with distinct floor levels rather than as a single, solid mass.
- An issue causing duplicate, overlapping mezzanine floors in detached warehouses has been fixed.
- The electrical and plant areas in modular data centres now update correctly in response to changes in the floor count.
- Piles supporting ramps for industrial buildings are now generated in the correct locations.
- The selection highlight for modular data centres now correctly aligns with the model's bounding box.
- A solver error that occurred when adding a modular data centre from a saved template has been fixed.
- The quantity of standby generators for a data centre now updates correctly when the cooling system criteria are changed.
- Fixed a beam solver error that affected double-loaded modular industrial buildings using a specific structural system.
Structural features
- Addressed an issue where the 3D model would not update correctly after changing the floor count.
- Corrected the unit labels for Structural Dead Load and Live Load to the standard 'kPa' notation.
- An issue causing incorrect positioning and orientation of pile caps in Revit exports has been resolved.
- Columns and beams now maintain their correct position and rotation when exported to Revit.
- Corrected a file naming issue with IFC downloads that prevented window data from being extracted by other software.
- Column rotation is now calculated correctly in the structural wireframe for cranked industrial buildings.
- Resolved an alignment issue with ground-floor structural elements at the perimeter of data centre buildings.
Site features
- The building's overall bounding box now accurately reflects its total height, including all roof elements.
- The planning envelope now generates correctly when using offset values greater than 7.5 metres.
- Locked elements can no longer be edited via the criteria panel, ensuring your intended design is preserved.
- Restored missing colours and annotation tags in floor plans exported to Revit.
- Site coverage is now correctly calculated and displayed in the area metrics when an industrial building is placed on the site.
- Deleting a background image from the site no longer causes an application error.
- The 'Move' command is now correctly available in the contextual toolbar for driveways, zones, and landscape elements.
- A scroll bar has been added to the errors window, ensuring all messages are visible when multiple errors are present.
- The display of cost and time data for non-building site elements like green buffers and driveways has been corrected.
