Version 1.2.40

Version 1.2.40 (26 Jun 2026)

New Features

This release introduces powerful new tools for scenario generation, site planning, and data analysis, giving you greater control and insight during the early stages of your design process.

Site Features

  • Enhance your site modelling with advanced topography interaction. Snapping tools now intelligently recognise 3D terrain geometry and 2D contour lines, enabling you to accurately draw and position elements at their correct elevation.
  • Achieve greater control over your projectโ€™s surroundings with the ability to edit the 3D massing of contextual buildings directly within the Site Space.

Industrial Building Features

  • Generate more detailed cost and quantity estimations earlier in your design process. The platform can now produce Level 1 and Level 2 Bills of Materials for key spatial elements in ramp-up factories.

Platform Features

  • A new first-run experience has been implemented for our Excel plugin, guiding new users through the setup and key features for a smoother and more informative onboarding process.

Bug Fixes

We have focused on improving platform stability and reliability in this release, addressing issues across the Site and Building spaces to ensure a smoother and more predictable user experience.

Site Features

  • Corrected an issue where site boundaries exported from Rhino as DXF files failed to import correctly.
  • Resolved a bug that prevented changes from being saved when editing 3D contextual buildings on the site.
  • Fixed an issue where newly placed buildings would sometimes appear to sink into the site's topography.
  • A notification will now correctly appear if the project datum is set too far from the site's topography, preventing potential modelling errors.
  • The reference point for the building pad height editor no longer shifts unexpectedly, ensuring consistent and predictable adjustments.
  • Building spacing rules are no longer incorrectly applied to the site's perimeter, ensuring massing aligns correctly with the overall planning envelope.
  • An issue that prevented the parking solver from generating perimeter parking stalls for manually drawn podiums has been resolved.

Residential Building Features

  • Addressed an issue where the solver would generate inefficient single-loaded corridors in some residential tower designs.
  • Refuge floors will no longer incorrectly contain residential units or contribute to the project's total unit count.
  • Clearing the unit mix field will no longer cause a solver error; the system now handles the empty field gracefully.
  • Towers placed on a podium will no longer stack by default, giving you more explicit control over vertical massing.
  • Using the split floorplate tool is now more intuitive. Double-clicking correctly exits the draw mode, and corridor options can no longer be regenerated after a floorplate has been split.

Industrial Building Features

  • A series of improvements have been made to the stability and functionality of data centre templates. Electrical cluster dimensions are now retained correctly when data halls are resized, input fields respect minimum and maximum value constraints, and corridor spaces update automatically when adjacent spaces are deleted.
  • The 'MW' (megawatt) and other IT Load units are now consistently and correctly displayed in data centre templates and metrics.
  • The number of chiller and cooling units is now calculated correctly when using a drag-and-drop data centre template.
  • The element tree is now correctly displayed for detached and semi-detached warehouse models, allowing for easier model navigation.
  • The mezzanine level is now correctly visible in the user interface for detached warehouse typologies.
  • An intermittent issue where the office section of a data centre would not render correctly after changing the floor-to-floor height has been fixed.
  • Minimum width constraints are now correctly applied when resizing chiller plant elements, preventing invalid geometries.

Structural Features

  • An error that could occur in the beam solver when updating the width of a data centre has been resolved.

General & Building Space Fixes

  • Modifying the floor-to-floor height will no longer incorrectly reset the building's overall floor count.
  • The basement floor count is now retained correctly after changing the function of an individual floor.
  • The parking metrics section is now correctly displayed in the main metrics panel when parking is added to a project.
  • Fixed an issue where duplicated data centre templates could not be edited or viewed.
  • The internal calculation engine's formula evaluation order has been corrected to ensure greater accuracy and reliability.
  • Improved system performance by removing a redundant data request in the engineering configuration view.
  • Minor user interface text and behavioural inconsistencies have been corrected for a more polished experience.
