Site features

• Gain a better understanding of your project's scale with a new, dynamic map scale widget. The scale automatically adjusts as you zoom, and supports both metric and imperial units, providing constant spatial context at both the site and scenario levels.

• A new Wind Rose tab is now available at the scenario level, providing valuable climate data to inform your design decisions. This tool visualises historical wind patterns for your project's specific location, helping you optimise building orientation and massing.

• You can now directly edit and manipulate site topography. This powerful new tool allows you to create and refine landforms, ensuring your building designs are perfectly integrated with their environment.

• Enjoy a more fluid and intuitive design experience. We've improved how elements are managed on the site, allowing you to easily detach, relocate, resize, and reattach components, giving you greater flexibility in your layouts.

• To better support projects globally, exported documents now correctly apply and display imperial units when they are selected for a project.

• The icon for generic surfaces has been updated for better clarity and easier identification while designing.

Industrial building features

• The project targets page has been expanded to include key performance metrics specific to data centres, allowing for more accurate feasibility and performance tracking.

• We've improved the logic for placing offices within buildings, resulting in more efficient and realistic layouts.

Residential building features

• Podium can now automatically detect circulation types, such as corridors and cores, directly from your building mass geometry, speeding up the process of generating detailed internal layouts.

Structural features

• The structural solver now includes advanced filtering for product types, providing greater control over component selection and enabling configurable fallbacks for more robust designs.

Bug Fixes

Site features

• We have resolved several issues with the driveway tool. Turning radii are now calculated correctly when connecting segments, path width values are properly constrained, and you can now create a closed-loop driveway on the first attempt. Furthermore, deleting a single segment will no longer accidentally delete the entire driveway.

• An issue that could cause certain CAD files to fail during import has been fixed, improving the reliability of our CAD import tool.

• Corrected a visual glitch where ghost lines would appear in the wrong positions while using the annotation and measuring tools.

• Your view settings are now correctly remembered. Refreshing the page within the building layout editor will no longer unexpectedly switch the camera back to a 3D view.

• Site-level metrics have been restored and corrected. Construction Cost and Time are now consistently displayed, and the data format for site usage percentages is accurate.

• We have resolved issues that prevented scenario comparison from loading, ensuring you can always access your analysis data.

• When cloning a renamed building, the new building will now have a correct and distinct name in the project outliner.

• Error messages will now correctly disappear after the underlying issue in the model has been resolved, preventing confusion.

• Fixed an inconsistency in how custom buildings were rendered when drawn with the pen tool, ensuring predictable results.

• You can now properly save yards associated with generic buildings to your templates.

• Addressed a rendering issue where some 3D building elements were incorrectly displayed at the site level.

Industrial building features

• We have fixed several issues related to data centres. The number of chiller plants displayed in the 3D model now accurately matches the engineering metrics, and key criteria such as UPS and Power fields are now correctly displayed for all data centre types. We also fixed an intermittent bug that could cause empty electrical clusters to be generated.

• A fix has been implemented to ensure that all relevant data and metrics for data centres are correctly calculated and displayed.

• The buildability score, a key metric for assessing construction feasibility, is now correctly calculated and displayed for all industrial models.

• Cloned warehouse models will now render correctly, resolving a bug that caused visual inconsistencies.

Residential building features

• We have resolved issues where updating a generic building to a residential function could cause it to become invalid, and where residential units sometimes failed to generate correctly along certain corridor types.

• An issue that caused scenario metrics to fail to load for projects with many large residential models has been resolved, improving performance and reliability.

• The Floor Space Index (FSI) metric, which was previously missing for some residential projects, is now correctly calculated and displayed.

• The compliance checker results are now displayed correctly. Selecting a floor plate compliance error will no longer show unrelated or unexpected elements.

Structural features

• An issue where roof wireframes were sometimes missing geometry in the 3D view has been fixed, ensuring all structural elements are fully represented.

• A temporary error related to the pile foundation solver that would appear and then disappear has been eliminated for a clearer and more stable user experience.

• The total quantity and assembly weeks shown in the metrics panel now correctly aggregate the values from all individual element types.

• The structure icon in the building space properties panel has been updated to be clearer and more easily visible.
