Data Center Overview

Data Center Workflow

Your data center workflow begins with setting up the overall building envelope and performance criteria.
  • Site Analysis: View nearby power, gas, water infrastructure and other site contextual information to map utilities and connectivity. Select and define site parcels, set constraints and development zones, and overlay surrounding power infrastructure context.
  • Adjust Performance Targets: Set goals for IT loads, design PUE, cooling strategy, and site density limits to guide automated solving
  • Define Building Parameters: Specify storey counts, floor-to-floor heights, massing options, cooling infrastructure, data hall templates to establish the project’s physical context.
  • Review Initial Layout: Use the preview mode to inspect the generated massing and ensure it meets site requirements. View live IT load, rack counts, area program and output minimum site power requirements.
