Version 1.2.28
Version 1.2.28 (1 Dec 2025)
New Features
We are excited to announce our latest platform update, bringing you powerful new tools and enhancements to accelerate your design and engineering workflows. This release focuses on improving design efficiency, expanding MEP capabilities, and providing greater clarity on site-level requirements.
Residential Building Features
- You can now instantly add walls to a selected space with a single click, making it faster and easier to create enclosed rooms and define your architectural layouts.
- We have refreshed the Spatial Editor interface for a cleaner and more readable experience. This includes optimised text labels and a clearer selection state, allowing you to focus on your design with fewer distractions.
Industrial Building Features
- To improve design consistency, the ground floor of multi-storey data centres is now treated as a typical floor, preventing misalignments and simplifying the configuration process.
- You can now configure a wider variety of cooling systems and equipment. This enhancement allows you to accurately determine the required space and quantities for different cooling plant types during feasibility studies.
- Our cooling plant solver has been updated to align with the latest modular data centre templates, ensuring your designs meet current industry standards for space and equipment layout.
Site Features
- Podium now automatically calculates the minimum site power required based on all data centre buildings in your plan. This gives you an immediate understanding of the total utility power capacity needed for the development.
- A new orthographic drawing mode can be enabled to assist your design process. When active, this tool snaps all drawn lines to 90-degree angles, ensuring precision when creating building footprints, spines, and site boundaries.
Bug Fixes
This release also includes a number of bug fixes and stability improvements across the platform. We have focused on resolving issues within the dynamic schedule, improving solver stability, and refining the user interface for a smoother experience.
Residential Building Features
- Fixed an issue that could cause the solver to enter an infinite loop when designing residential towers with two cores.
- Resolved a problem where walls would become misplaced after moving a space within a layout.
- Ensured that all relevant design criteria are now correctly displayed for walls in the Spatial Editor.
- Unit entrances can now be repositioned correctly within the Spatial Editor.
- You can now create angled spine residential buildings while the orthographic drawing mode is enabled.
Industrial Building Features
- Addressed several solver errors that could occur when designing or editing industrial warehouses and data centres, particularly those with angled spines or created from templates.
- Corrected an issue preventing generator sets and chiller plants from overlapping in single-storey data centre layouts.
- Chiller plants placed on a roof will now remain correctly within the building's boundary.
- Fixed layout clashes between ramps and building units in industrial models.
- Resolved a bug where loading docks were not always placed adjacent to office spaces in data centre designs.
- Corrected various data mismatches in metrics and design criteria for data centres, including electrical area, IPMS1 values, and maximum width validation.
- The full range of capacity values can now be entered for data centre cooling plants.
Structural Features
- Perpendicular snapping now functions correctly in the Building Layout Editor for improved drawing accuracy.
- Prevented an extra, unwanted segment from being created when updating a building's spine angle with orthographic drawing mode active.
Site Features
- Site-level environmental criteria are now correctly applied to the building models.
- The Total IT Load and Maximum Utilisation Power metrics on the site dashboard now display with the correct units and precision.
- Orthographic drawing mode now works as expected when defining site boundaries and build/no-build zones.
- A compliance error will now be correctly triggered if a building is placed inside a no-build zone.
- Resolved an issue where site parameters were not resetting correctly after a site was edited.
- Height and platform level values applied to a site are now correctly reflected in the model.
Project & Platform Fixes
- Improved the login process with clearer error messages and a smoother workflow when correcting a password.
- Addressed several inaccuracies within the Dynamic Schedule, ensuring that cost rates, currency symbols, and time/cost forecast values are displayed and updated correctly.
- Restored the 'Rate' column to the Time Tab in the Dynamic Schedule.
- After being added, new models are now immediately selectable and visible in the project object list.
- Resolved a screen flickering issue that occurred in the Building Layout Editor panel.
- You will no longer be incorrectly redirected when renaming, duplicating, or deleting a unit template.
- Area schedules with special characters or duplicate names in the scenario title can now be downloaded successfully.
- Corrected user permissions for setting preferences on shared projects.
- Added a missing tooltip for the currency unit in Project Settings.
