Version 1.2.21
Version 1.2.21 (5 Aug 2025)
New Features
This release introduces several new features and improvements to enhance your building design and engineering workflow.
Residential Building Features
- Improved control over 2-segment spine designs with the introduction of an Anchor Point and clockwise angle constraints, ensuring more predictable and valid building layouts.
- A new checklist feature in the Spatial Editor provides a clear overview of required elements and any errors present, streamlining the unit creation process.
- Clusters in Residential Towers can now be rotated along their intersection with the spine, offering greater flexibility in building design.
- Quickly toggle hammerhead configurations on and off for terminal nodes in Residential Towers using a convenient contextual criteria tool.
- Further refine segment lengths, even when placement offset is set to zero, for more precise design control.
- \"Air Well\" criteria has been renamed to \"Unit Separation\" for improved clarity.
- The solver now prioritizes unit variants with entrances furthest from the terminal node when placing terminal units, resulting in more efficient corridor layouts.
Industrial Building Features
- Enhanced ramp sizing logic considers a wider range of inputs for more accurate and flexible ramp design in industrial buildings.
- Access relevant ramp criteria directly within Site Space when a ramp element is selected, streamlining the design process.
- A new, smaller ramp type is now available, catering to a broader range of industrial building requirements.
- The solver now dynamically sizes water tanks, taking into account structural elements and user-defined parameters, for optimized and buildable designs.
Structural Features
- New spatial wireframe flags and beam merging logic allow for more intelligent and efficient column placement, balancing architectural intent with structural requirements.
- Edit the core configuration in Building Layout editor, allowing for adjustments to the clustered core location.
- Wireframe generation now supports side-end ramp typology, improving structural solver accuracy for this ramp type.
MEPF Features
- Distribution elements are now automatically offset or rerouted to avoid clashes, resulting in a more coordinated services layout.
Other Features
- Element adjacency rules have been implemented, enabling more sophisticated control over relationships between elements.
Bug Fixes
Several bugs have been addressed to improve platform stability and user experience.
