Version 1.2.14

Version 1.2.14 (11/04/2025)

New Features

Residential Building Features

  • Improved Visualisation of Non-Typical Units: Roof units now appear with distinct colours in Site Space, helping you quickly identify these areas and understand the overall unit distribution within your building designs.
  • Enhanced Unit Mix Visualisation: The colour palette for unit mix, corridors, and lifts has been revised, improving clarity and visual distinction in your designs.
  • Detailed Apartment Unit Breakdown: When viewing residential towers in Site Space, the metrics now include a precise count breakdown for each unit type, giving you a clearer picture of how your unit mix criteria are translated into design.

Industrial Building Features

  • Customisable Mezzanine Spaces: When designing industrial units, you now have greater control over mezzanine spaces. You can specify the desired size (or percentage of unit area), minimum/maximum depth, and maximum distance to egress, ensuring mezzanines meet your design and regulatory needs.
  • Integrated Unit Merging for Optimal Layouts: Developers and designers can now define unit mix and target unit mix criteria for industrial buildings in Site Space. The solver will then merge typical unit bays to generate optimal layouts and provide relevant metrics, streamlining the design process.

Structural Features

  • Enhanced Staircase Landing Slab Solving: The platform now provides more accurate and detailed solving logic for staircase landing slabs, improving the precision of your structural designs.
  • Comprehensive Staircase Solving: The solving logic for staircases has been enhanced to provide more accurate and reliable structural solutions.
  • Detailed Post-Tensioned (PT) Beam Reporting: The Bill of Materials (BOM) and Schedule View now include comprehensive data for precast PT beam products, enabling thorough evaluation of key attributes and quantities in third-party platforms.
  • Integrated Sanitary Ware Schedules: You can now view detailed schedules for sinks, urinals, and toilets within the Sanitary Ware and Fittings schedule in Building Space. This provides quick access to quantities and locations of these fittings on each floor.
  • View Distribution Element Properties: You can now select distribution elements (like ducts) in the 3D view and instantly see their associated properties, helping you identify and confirm their location.

Supplier Features

  • Comprehensive Switchboard Product Management: Supplier users can now download, populate, and import templates for "Switchboard (Incoming)" and "Switchboard (Outgoing)" products. This allows the product solver to effectively recommend and analyse your products based on user requirements.
  • Enhanced Cooling Tower Equipment Schedule: A new schedule tab allows designers to view the cooling tower equipment schedule. This helps validate information and ensure the design aligns with project requirements.

Site Features

  • Consistent Product Catalogue Filtering: Filtering behaviour in the Product Catalogue is now consistent, with filter selections accurately reflecting in the breadcrumbs. This makes it easier to navigate and understand your applied filters.
  • Rendered Switchboard Geometry and Resized Rooms: Solved switchboard geometry is now fully rendered in Building Space, and the LV switchroom space automatically resizes to accommodate it. This provides a clear visualisation of placement and ensures adequate space allocation.
  • Rendered Generator Geometry and Resized Rooms: Similar to switchboards, Generating Set Equipment is now fully rendered in Building Space, and the associated room space resizes accordingly. This helps you visualise placement, quantities, and reserve adequate space for seamless integration.

Platform Enhancements

  • Improved Podium and Basement Colour Visualisation: The colours for Podium and Basement elements have been updated to align with the new unit colours, providing a more cohesive visual experience.
  • Distinct Airwell Colour: The airwell element now has a unique colour (D5F6FD, 50% opacity), resolving previous confusion with corridors and improving visual clarity.
  • Area Calculation Criteria in Engineering Configurations: You can now specify external wall thickness, external wall percentage, internal wall percentage, and balustrade percentage in your engineering configurations. This ensures consistent and predictable area calculations across your projects.
  • Podium Admin Notification for User Limits: Podium Admins will now receive notifications when an organisation reaches its user limit, allowing for proactive management.
  • Check-in/Check-out for Template Editor: A manual check-in/check-out system has been implemented for the Template Editor. This prevents multiple users from making simultaneous changes to the same template, safeguarding your work from accidental overrides.
  • "Save As" for Templates: A new "Save As" function has been added to the Template Editor, allowing you to easily copy an existing template as a starting point for new designs.

Bug Fixes

This release includes important bug fixes to improve the stability, accuracy, and usability of the Podium platform.
