Version 1.2.46 (Latest)

Version 1.2.46 (7 Oct 2026)

New Features

We are excited to announce a range of powerful new features and enhancements to the Podium platform. This update focuses on accelerating your design process, expanding our capabilities for different building typologies, and providing greater control over your projects.

Residential building features

  • You can now toggle the visibility of different design domains (such as architecture, structure, and MEPF) within the Building Layout Editor, providing a clearer and more focused view of your work.
  • Explore a wider range of parking solutions automatically. The platform can now generate options that combine both podium and basement parking, helping you to find the optimal layout for your site.
  • To produce more relevant results faster, scenario generation can now be constrained to specific building footprints, such as 'L' or 'U' shapes, when desired.

Industrial building features

  • We have introduced automated layout generation for Data Centres. This powerful new capability significantly speeds up the initial design and feasibility stages for industrial projects.

Supplier features

  • For improved data management and organisation, models now include a system-level attribute to identify ownership, which enhances collaboration and traceability.

Site features

  • Introducing a new split-screen view that allows you to see your 3D model and the corresponding data schedule side-by-side. This enhances your workflow by making it easier to understand the relationship between your design and its data.
  • Gain more control over your documentation with a new option to hide the site address when exporting 2D markups to PDF, allowing for cleaner and more customisable presentations.

Bug Fixes

This release also includes a number of bug fixes and stability improvements across the platform. Our team has worked to resolve issues and refine existing functionality to ensure a smoother and more reliable experience for all users.

Residential building features

  • Improved system stability when editing floorplates to ensure all changes are saved correctly and reliably.
  • The unit swapping functionality within the editor has been restored and is now fully operational.
  • Core units will now remain in their correct positions when you are editing I-shaped building designs.
  • Validation to prevent units from overlapping when adding new building clusters is now working as expected.
  • Building cores are now placed correctly at the angles of T-shaped spine buildings.
  • Resolved a solver error that could occasionally occur when adding a residential model to a site.
  • Core selection in the Building Layout Editor has been improved to work correctly for cores at any rotation.
  • Corrected unit placement logic to ensure units attach to the correct side of a building's spine.
  • Addressed an intermittent error that could occur when adding a hammerhead element to a design.
  • When adding a new building cluster, it will no longer solve with MEP systems by default, allowing for a more controlled workflow.
  • Podium parking layouts are now generated correctly when using the 'whole site' boundary type.
  • The confirmation message displayed when cancelling a parking generation process is now correct.
  • Podium parking layouts for a specific cluster will no longer collide with residential towers that are not part of that cluster.
  • The parking area will no longer be displayed in metrics or visuals when no parking has been assigned to a design.
  • Towers now remain in their correct position after generating parking on a previously saved design.
  • Fixed a visual issue where site view dimensions would overlap the content within the Floorplate Editor.
  • Resolved an intermittent issue that could prevent parking from being generated during scenario creation.
  • Previews for unit variants are now displayed correctly within the template library.

Industrial building features

  • Fixed a solver error that could occur when updating a cloned Data Centre project.
  • Addressed an issue that prevented some buildings created from organisation templates from being solved.
  • Parking metrics for Data Centres, including those for loading bays, are now correctly calculated and displayed in the Site Area Metrics panel.
  • Metrics will now display reliably in the details view after a Data Centre template has been edited.
  • Prevented the unintentional creation of empty spaces when adding new areas to custom Data Centre templates.
  • Fixed a solver error that occurred when swapping a Data Centre design with a custom template.
  • Corrected placement logic to prevent cooling towers from clashing with other elements when moved from the ground to the roof.
  • Restored the ability to add and edit module names when creating new equipment templates.

Structural features

  • Elements that you delete from your model will now remain deleted, preventing them from being unintentionally regenerated by the system.
  • Resolved a solver error that could occur when updating podium floor heights on buildings stacked with residential towers.
  • Fixed solver errors related to beams and slabs in Modular Data Centre designs to ensure accurate structural calculations.
  • Towers will now solve correctly when using default podium units, improving the reliability of stacked building designs.

Site features

  • Corrected the behaviour of no-build zones to ensure they correctly influence the site layout during scenario generation.
  • The planning envelope is now correctly displayed for all sites, ensuring compliance checks are accurate.
  • Your layer visibility preferences in the navigation panel will now be saved and persist as you move around the platform.
  • Improved the performance and reliability of opening scenarios that have been cloned from existing ones.
  • The count for heavy vehicle parking spaces is now correctly calculated and displayed in the site-level parking metrics.
  • Addressed an intermittent solver error related to placing driveways on a site after a building has already been added.
  • Ensured that grids generated for a site cover the intended area completely without any missing sections.
  • The 'Assign Configuration to Scenario' page now correctly lists all available scenarios within the project.
  • Improved stability when switching between different data schedules, preventing errors and interruptions.
  • The build time is now calculated correctly in the configuration panel, even when the deviation is set to zero.
